Real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran has voiced her heartbreak after her beloved million-dollar trailer home was “entirely destroyed” in the deadly California wildfires that began ripping through the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles on Jan. 7.
Corcoran, 75, shared the “devastating” update about her mobile home in a series of social media videos, revealing that the Palisades Fire had obliterated her property, as well as the entirety of the ultraexclusive trailer park in which it was located.
“The devastating fires in L.A. have taken so much from so many this week,” the “Shark Tank” star wrote while sharing a video of the blaze obliterating her home. “The beloved Tahitian Terrace Mobile Home Park in Pacific Palisades, my little slice of heaven, was entirely destroyed when the devastating Palisades Fire rapidly moved through the park on Tuesday.
Corcoran went on to praise the tight-knit community at Tahitian Terrace, where she has owned a trailer home for the past five years.
“For the past five years, I’ve been privileged to have a home in this loving, tight-knit community,” she went on. “It’s a place where kindness thrives, friendships are cherished, and neighbors become family.
“My heart breaks again and again as I see these incredible people who built their lives here for decades, many of them seniors who poured their hearts and life-savings into their trailers, left with absolutely nothing.”

Corcoran then shared a second video revealing the remains of the trailer park, which was reduced to nothing more than a pile of rubble and ash after the flames tore through it.
“Our beloved Tahitian Terrace community off PCH in the Palisades has been devastated,” she wrote. “The place where memories were made, friendships were built, and lives were shared has been tragically destroyed. Most of my neighbors—many elderly—lost everything.
“These are the kindest, most generous souls I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing, and my heart aches for the pain they’re enduring.”
She noted that she has set up a GoFundMe to raise money for all of the “wonderful individuals” who were living in the Tahitian Terrace community—and whose homes have now been decimated by the devastating fires.
“To support them on the long road ahead, I’ve created a GoFundMe (link in bio). Every penny raised will go directly to the residents to help them begin again,” she added.

Tahitian Terrace was located along the Pacific Coast Highway, which suffered horrifying destruction during the Palisades Fire. Prior to the blaze, it was known to be one of the most exclusive—and expensive—mobile home parks in the country, with trailers in the area regularly selling for upwards of $750,000.
Corcoran’s trailer cost her $800,000 and she invested a further $150,000 into renovating the property, which was located right next to the water, and which she says she actually preferred to her sprawling $15 million apartment in New York City.
The trailer helped to turn Corcoran into a viral star back in 2023, when she opened up the home to real estate influencer Caleb Simpson, giving him a tour of the space and revealing the fascinating story of how she came to buy it.
She explained that the trailer wasn’t actually for sale when she came across it—but that she was so enamored by the home, and its spectacular views, that she refused to take “no” for an answer from its former owner.
“I saw this trailer park, and I liked this [home] the best because it had the best view, I thought,” she recalled, adding that the previous resident initially offered to sell it to her the following year.
“I said, ‘No, I really want it now,’” she went on. “I said, ‘But what if you can use it whenever you want—for your life?’ And she said, ‘Yeah, that would be good,’ and she sold it to me.”
